Overview

Following the traditions of previous successful NPC conferences, NPC-09 (Gold Coast, Australia), NPC-10 (Zhengzhou, China), and NPC-11 (Changsha, Hunan, China). The objective of the 9th IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing (NPC 2012) is to establish an international forum for engineers and scientists to present their excellent ideas and experiences in all system fields of network and parallel computing.

Submission Guidelines

Papers must strictly adhere to page limits as follows.

- Full Paper: 8 pages (Max 2 extra pages allowed at additional cost)
- Regular Paper: 6 pages (Max 2 extra pages allowed at additional cost)
Papers exceeding the page limits will be rejected without review.

A submitted paper must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 10 pages in LNCS style, including tables and figures, and must be formatted in PDF format. Submission of a paper entails a commitment that, if the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.

Important Dates

  • Workshop proposals due: December 10, 2011
  • Full paper submission due: April 15, 2012 April 30, 2012 (Final Extension)
  • Notification of acceptance: May 21, 2012 (Extended)
  • Camera-ready paper upload due: May 30, 2012
  • Authors registration due: May 30, 2012
  • Conference dates: September 6-8, 2012

Publications

The Conference Proceedings will be published as LNCS (indexed by EI and ISTP) series published by Springer (confirmed). Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation.

Distinguished selected papers accepted and presented in NPC 2012, after further revisions, will be published in the special issues of the following international journals:

- Cluster Computing (CC) - Springer (SCI-E)
- Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS), Springer (Open Access)

Call for Workshops

Awards

The organizing committee will offer FTRA best paper for the best paper, which will be presented at the banquet.
